As Spring approaches each year so do restaurants and their seasonal seafood specials (trying saying that with a mouthful of shrimp!). The reasons for eating fish on Fridays and during lent go back quite some time; skip forward to today though, for many of us, it means a range of menu updates focused on fish sandwiches and other seafood specials.

A&W – Cod Sliders And Pub Style Baskets

The brand has confirmed that both their Cod Sliders and Pub Style Baskets will make a return to all stores for 2022. The baskets let guests choose from a 16-piece Shrimp Basket, 3-piece Cod Basket, or Cod Sliders Basket, all served with fries and coleslaw.

Arbys – Spicy Fish Sandwich

For 2022 Arby’s have spiced up their regular Crispy Fish Sandwich; the latter also makes a seasonal menu comeback alongside the King’s Hawaiian Deluxe Fish. Read our full review of the Spicy Fish Sandwich.

Smashburger – Pacific Cod Sandwich

For 2022 Smashburger will be bringing back their Beer Battered Pacific Cod Sandwich for a limited time. Made using wild-caught Pacific Cod the fish is dipped in a signature batter infused with lager, and served with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and creamy tartar sauce the fish item will be available until April 19th.

Jack In The Box – Fish Sandwich and Deluxe Fish Sandwich

Back for 20ww both of JiTB’s Fish sandwich options. The sandwich features crispy-fried fish filets with lettuce and tartar sauce. The Deluxe upgrades the sandwich with two crispy-fried fish filets, two slices of American chees, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce.

Dickey’s BBQ Pit – smoked or fried fish

From March 3rd through April 14th guests can enjoy two fish dishes – slow-smoked or crispy-fried fish. The duo of options are available as a plate or sandwich. At our local Dickey’s the plates are priced $14.00 each and come with a choice of two sides and a roll.

Long John Silver – Shrimply Irresistible

Offering a range of deals and options as follows:

$6.99 Fish & Shrimp Combo, includes one piece of hand-battered, wild-caught Alaska Pollock, three-piece shrimp, one side, two hushpuppies, and a drink.
$10 Sea-Shares featuring choice of 15 grilled shrimp, 15 batter-dipped shrimp, or a shareable serving of crispy breaded popcorn shrimp; or dive into nine hand-battered chicken tenders or six-piece hand-battered, wild-caught Alaska Pollock to share with your crew.

Taco Del Mar – Crispy Shrimp Tacos

The Crispy Shrimp Taco comes with shredded cabbage, made-in-house Baja white sauce, and topped with fresh pico de gallo. Taco Del Mar puts a twist on the classic recipe by adding a kick of spice to the fan favorite. In addition to the taco, guests can add crispy shrimp to any menu entrée including burritos, taco salads, burrito bowls and more. They can further customize their meal by adding extra meat, picking their favorite made-in-house salsa, and piling on their preferred toppings.

White Castle – Shrimp Nibblers

White Castle Crab Cake Sliders and Shrimp Nibblers hit menu — White Castle Shrimp Nibblers

White Castle have announced their ever-popular Shrimp Nibblers will return to the menu for a limited time. Those oh-so-scrumptious bite-sized butterfly shrimp made with a crispy, golden coating will be available at participating locations from now through April 17 to satisfy customers’ seafood crave.
