In case you didn’t know, it’s not just the US that’s getting obsessed with fish sandwiches right now. Even on the other side of the world, fish specials are hitting menu boards. Case in point, check out this one from Burger King New Zealand – the delicious look Fish And Chip Butty. For those new to the lingo chip are fries, butty are sandwiches. Got it?
The brand writes the sandwich is, “A very BK take on a Kiwi classic. Golden fish ’n’ chips ’n’ pickles ’n’ tartare sauce ’n’ sesame buns. It’s the catch of the summer.”
Anyone who has ever glanced around then sheepishly loaded up their side of fries to their burger – will nod appreciatively at this one.
