If you ever thought that the buns on you burger were getting in the way of proceedings, well, so did Burger King Japan. The brand recently unveiled this monster creation of a burger, dropping the buns entirely and replacing them with even more patties!
The appropriately titled Extreme burger comes with:
- Four beef patties totaling more than 1 pound
- Tomato
- Lettuce
- Pickles
- Onions
- Cheese
Replacing the buns with more beef? Genius. If you really need those buns to hold the whole ensemble together, the slightly more expensive Maximum burger adds a couple of them for a little more cash.
Food Beast write that the burger “is priced at 1400 yen (USD 13.50), making it more than three times the price of a Whopper in the country.” The new Extreme and Maximum burger come on the tails of the recently released insanely good looking Chicken Ugly Burger. I think I need to book a flight stat…
