Roughly two months on from their plant-based chorizo release, Chipotle have taken the wraps of their next time limited protein: Pollo Asado. The grilled fresh chicken is apparently the first major chicken update in it’s near three decade history.
The chicken is “grilled fresh and prepared daily in small batches” and is “tumbled in a spice blend before being seared on the plancha.” Chipotles grilled chicken is chopped to order and given a blitz of lime and cilantro for brightness. The release comes after a limited test in Sacramento and Cincinnati back in November 2021.
Celebrating the launch – Chipotle are offering $0 delivery fees on all Pollo Asado orders placed through the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com from March 14th through March 20th.
