Hot on the heels of the most recent Brisket at Chipotle (now gone we believe, though expected to return!) the chain are testing an all new Pollo Asado, at 95 restaurants across Cincinnati, Ohio and Sacramento, California.
Via press release, Chipotle write that this is the first menu innovation with chicken in its 28-year history. The grilled chicken offers a flavor profile of garlic, fresh lime, guajillo peppers and cilantro. The new chicken option is “grilled fresh daily in small batches”, and seasoned with a dry rub of cumin, guajillo peppers, and coriander. It’s cooked fresh to sear in the flavors on the grill, hand-cut and finished with garlic, chili peppers, fresh squeezed lime and chopped cilantro.
If you’re lucky enough to live in a test area Chipotle iare offering a $0 delivery fee on all Pollo Asado orders via the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com from November 8 through November 14.
