2020 was the year of plant-based menu update, and 2021 looks set to build on that success. Case in point, Dunkin’ have expanded their range of meat-free options with the addition of a brand new menu item this month.
Expanding on the success of Dunkin’s Beyond Sausage Breakfast Sandwich last year, the chain have now added an all new Southwest Veggie Power Breakfast Sandwich using MorningStar Farms breakfast sausage as the start of the sandwich.
The new sandwich features a MorningStar Farms Black Bean Patty packed topped with an egg white egg white omelet thats loaded with spinach, bell peppers, and onions. the breakfast menu item is then topped with aged white cheddar cheese and served on a multigrain thin. In total it clocks in at 410 calories, 26 grams of protein, and 23 grams of whole grains – the perfect healthy start to the year.
