Many fast food operations took the unprecedented times to reduce and slim down menus. The simplified menus make for quicker more efficient kitchens.
Employees in the back of the house have long voiced concerns over how the breakfast items can slow down the production of the overall menu – often creating backups and bottlenecks at busy times. Most chains hope such simplification helps boost throughput as drive-thru becomes popular among diners.
Fans of the Golden Arches’ around the clock breakfast items, are not happy about the possible loss of the menu.
