Put February 21st in your diary, because that’s the date for the 2022 return of the Shamrock McFlurry – not to mention it’s newer sibling, the OREO Shamrock McFlurry. This makes the 53rd year for the lucky shake, with the OREO version releasing for the first time last year.
For this years release, the brand are promoting the hexadecimal color code (#cbf2ac) of the drink and advising fans might be able to use it to score a secret deal. McDonald’s press materials state:
When the Shamrock Shake and OREO Shamrock McFlurry make their return to U.S. menus later this month, show us how you’re celebrating with #cbf2ac and #ShamrockShakeSZN!
And starting Feb. 21, our Shamrock green hex code just might unlock another tasty secret. That is, if you know where to look. Be one of the first to figure out the mystery and you could get a little something special from us.
The two shakes follow hot on the heels of the recent Hacks Menu update, check out our review of that here and what you need to know.
