Various reports today confirmed that McDonald’s famous Shamrock Shake will make a return for 2021. The shake will also be joined by last year’s brand new creation, the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry which marked 50 years of the original shake back in 2020. McDonald’s writes the following of the seasonal specials:
- The Shamrock Shake features creamy, vanilla soft serve blended with our unmistakable Shamrock flavor and topped with a whipped topping for a delicious minty treat.
- The OREO Shamrock McFlurry is a twist on a fan-favorite, featuring creamy, vanilla soft serve with our unmistakable Shamrock flavor and OREO cookie pieces blended throughout for a delicious minty-chocolaty dessert that super fans and new fans alike can enjoy.
Both will return to menus in 2021 as of February 15th. It looks set to be a busy year for franchisees and fans as just over a week later the brand is expected to launch their new chicken sandwiches.
