This Monday, Taco Bell answered the prayers of so many frustrated fans across the country. The start of this week saw the massive Mexican chain announce the permanent return of their fabled Mexican Pizza. After a two year absence from the menu, Taco Bell confirmed the fan favorite dish would hit menus on May 19th; and not just for a limited time either, this will be a permanent return.
It’s hard to overstate the demand for this one. Clearly Taco Bell have paid attention to the vast social media outcry for the return of the Pizza, not least more than 170,000 signatures on this change.org petition!
For the uninitiated the Mexican Pizza comes with:
- Two crispy shells
- Beans
- Red pizza sauce
- Beef
- Tomatoes
- Three cheese blend
The price for the Pizza will be $4.49 ala carte but fans can also score a special relaunch deal too.
For the first week of the relaunch (May 19 – May 26) Taco Bell have teamed up with DoorDash for a delivery special. Enjoy $2 off one Mexican Pizza with a minimum subtotal of $12 using promo code MEXPIZZA at checkout.
