A question I am sure many of us out there in fast food world have asked – just who has the best sauce? Well, The Association for Dressings and Sauces (yep, it’s a think) has awarded Zaxby’s Caribbean Jerk Sauce the top sauce of 2020. The ADS’s corporate chef Kate Dolan writes about the sauce:
“The authentic, fruity, sweet and spicy Caribbean Jerk Sauce features a blend of mango, habanero peppers, and Island spices. It complements other sandwich ingredients, including a signature hand-breaded, crispy-fried chicken fillet, banana peppers, lettuce, and mayo on a toasted potato bun. Zaxby’s also offered this sauce as a wing glaze.”
The Caribbean Jerk Sauce initially debuted as a limited time offer at the start of 2020, but such was its success and popularity, it’s now a permanent menu staple.
The Sauce of the Year award is presented by ADS to recognize and celebrate truly innovative and delicious products. Nominations for the award were received earlier in the year and a judging team from the ADS membership voted via blind taste tests, based on the sauce deemed to have the best overall taste.

I don’t mind admitting to a certain secret obsession with fast food as well – and that’s where Menu And Price comes in…
