Nope, its not some oddball April fools joke, it’s a whole new business venture from the Wingstop brand. Thighstop is an all new thigh concept available from 1,400 virtual locations.
Apparently the launch is the companies way of addressing consumer’s fear of a chicken wing shortage. The ghost kitchen concepts launches this month and is accessible via DoorDash.
As you’d expect from the name, the menu is laser focused on thighs, rather than the brands traditional wings; no bad thing of course, as the launch press release reminds us that this part is one of the juiciest and most flavorful parts of the chicken.
Thighstop will offer fans crispy thighs, served naked or sauced with a choice of the same 11 flavors offered by Wingstop. The new concept will also offer breaded boneless thighs – mimicking the parent brand’s boneless wings option. lastly diners can also order ranch and blue cheese dips, seasoned fries, fried corn and rolls.
