For a chain that promotes their perfection of the sandwich (hey did anyone actually notice they stopped actually saying that on their ads of late…) you’d be forgiven for thinking the non bread based items on the menu (see more) weren’t worthy of much fan fare. Well, these chicken tenders might want you to rethink that.
I added these randomly to a recent order when testing out the new Beer Battered Fish Sandwich, and wow, I’m glad I did. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed chicken tenders as much as this.
The tenders are of a decent size and they nail the breading to chicken ration in my book. There’s a hefty crunch in each bite but plenty of meat too. Speaking of which, it’s all identifiably chicken, there’s nothing ultra processed here. I didn’t find any weirdly gristly or chewy parts, or the dreaded, “breading only”.
The tenders also held up well after sitting for a while after ordering, remaining nice and crisp till the last bite. I’d thoroughly recommend these!
