In a surprise move that will have fans reaching for their apps, McDonald’s has announced a limited drop of their notorious Szechuan Sauce. The much beloved dipper will be available on March 31st – until supplies run out. Oh there’s one more catch – the sauce can only be ordered through McD’s app.
This current release marks only the third time the savory and sweet sauce has been available in the past 24 years.
McDonald’s iconic Szechuan Sauce has a savory and slightly sweet taste profile with hints of soy, garlic, ginger and mild vinegar notes to round out your dipping sauce experience. The sauce will come free with Chicken McNugget orders and also be available for ala carte purchase
