This salvo from Boston Market also came with the proclamation, “the chicken sandwich wars are over”, from press materials from the brand. If the chicken battle has taught us one thing, there’s more hyperbole out there than there are sandwiches.
This new limited time menu offering from the sit down eatery also taps the other hot trend right now – spice; the sandwich uses a hot sauce with a mix of cayenne and chilli powder alongside a few other secret spices.
The sandwich is served with pickles, ranch dressing and comes on a brioche bun. The sandwich meal is also served up with two side and cornbread too (not least being available in both rotisserie and crispy styles).
The sandwich is reported to already be on sale at a variety of locations, but the sandwich is set to formally launch on January 25th.
